

She is predeceased by Andrew Thompson and Walter Power, also her siblings William, Wallace, Dora, and Robb, her stepson Walter, and her nephew Fred Wilson.
She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends, nieces and nephews in both Canada and Ireland. As well as her stepchildren Sean, Anita, and Kim.
Phyllis was born in Ireland on September 26, 1927 to loving parents Fred and Minnie Wilson (nee Boyd), before moving to Toronto in the early 1950s. In Canada she worked as a Legal Secretary at Fasken and Calvin for thirty years on Bay Street. In her later years, Phyllis went on to volunteer at Providence Healthcare, travel and express her creativity through needlework, crocheting, knitting, and tending to her beautiful garden. In her spare time she also loved to cook, bake, and make homemade jam for her family and friends. Phyllis was always involved with her church and her family. She always had a very caring nature, and will be remembered for her independence, strong will, and determination.
Phyllis will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.
A visitation for Phyllis will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3. A graveside service will occur Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at Highland Memory Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Lane, Toronto, ON M2H 3K4.
