Ralph Secord Caswell

Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario June 7th, 1934, died in Toronto, December

1st, 2014. Cas was predeceased by his first wife Madam Justice Moira Lenore Caswell and his second wife Joanne Gair Deans Caswell, and is survived by his daughter Steise, son Tom and his wife Faye (Traiforos) and their children Conor and Rory as well as his stepson James Deans and his children Hudson and Alexis.

Cas was a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Applied Science

and Engineering and Osgoode Hall Law School. He was appointed a Queen's

Counsel in 1974. He practised construction and commercial law in the city of

Toronto with a number of firms, retiring in 2008.

Cas served as a Director and President of the Toronto Cricket, Curling and

Skating Club, a Director of the Craigleith Ski Club, President and Director

of the North Toronto Chapter of Professional Engineers as well as a number

of other board positions.

Cas was an avid skier and sailor and enthusiastic golfer.

Family and friends will be received at the TRULL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE (2704 Yonge Street-Toronto 416-488-1101) on Thursday, December 4 from 4-6 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be on Friday, December 5th at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. A private family burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Honourable Madam Justice
