My sincere condolences to the Contreras family. Aunty Becky was a kind, generous, and loving woman. Although I haven't had the opportunity to spend much time with her for many years now, I have wonderful memories of her and uncle growing up. I will miss you very much aunty Becky. We will miss you Ate Becky.   In my early years in Canada, I enjoyed the fishing expeditions and the gathering of pako that you and Kuya Joe would take me and Auntie Maddie, then you would cook them for us to have a yummy dinner.   The effort that you made to make the suman you brought for my brother Al’s funeral recently, will never be forgotten.  I still have the latik that you made with it, in my freezer, and will stay there as a reminder of your goodness.  We will always remember you Ate Becky.

Aunty  Becky was a person who knew how to enjoy life. She was always going camping, boating or fishing or playing Mahjon: she knew how to have fun. She was very kind and warmhearted and very blunt to tell you what your problem is and how to fix it. Some people may not like her blunt straightforward and blunt mannerisms, but that's bc she's a leader and that's how leaders speak. What we lose in the passing of our beautiful aunt Becky, heaven gains in a new angel. I have solice knowing that she is with  uncle Joe now. Thankyou aunt Becky for introduceing me to boat fishing and  outdoor camping as a kid. I pray to God thanks  and gratitude that you and uncle Joe are in far better place than this world. I love you aunty Becky, thankyou so much for being a  strong part in the foundation of my childhood, and being present  with your leadership style character and kind warm spirit when I became an adult to offer guidance. I will miss you so much aunty, and we will see each other again reunited.
