In sadness we share the passing of Robert Samuel Cameron at his home in Toronto, Ontario on March 14th, 2026. Born on July 25th, 1933, in Plympton Township, Ontario, he lived a happy, and healthy life of 92 years.
Bob began his education in a one-room schoolhouse across from the farm where he was born and concluded his career in a 70-storey skyscraper in Toronto’s financial district. He started out as a Chartered Accountant, became a financial analyst and later an investment advisor. In his spare time, he was an excellent handyman and carpenter.
Bob was a devoted father to his daughters Robin (Kelly) and Sherri and a proud grandfather to Noah (Amanda). He shared a close bond with his brother Sam and his dear friend Mary. He is survived by nephews Bill (Joan), Brian (Anne), David (Paula), Richard (Kathy), nieces Beth (Murray), Anne (Chuck), Lynn, Hope and Heather. He is predeceased by his wife Norma (nee Humphries), parents Herman and Verna, sister Doris, sister-in-law Cathy, and niece Wendy.
Faith played an important role in Bob’s life. After Norma passed away in 2003, he found solace at St. John’s Norway Anglican Church. The church community became an important part of his life.
Bob will be remembered for his kindness and generosity and will be greatly missed.
