He will be joining his beloved wife of 56 years, Vittoria, in Heaven. Proud father to son Brian and daughter-in-law Tanya and adoring grandfather to Charlotte, William and Oliver.
Robert will be lovingly remembered for his deep appreciation of life’s simple joys. He found great peace in gardening and had a special fondness for birds, often spending quiet moments enjoying nature around him. Beach vacations in Mexico were among his favorite escapes, where he could relax and take in the warmth and beauty of the coast. A natural fixer, Robert was always happiest repairing and improving things around the house. Above all, he cherished his grandchildren dearly, and he remained a loyal fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs throughout his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in Robert's honour.
