Rodolfo Santia

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. After a short stay at Woodbridge Vista Care, he passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, December 1, 2023. He now joins his loving and devoted wife, Clelia and his brothers, Mario, Elio, Guido and Loretto.

Rodolfo was the beloved husband to Clelia, beloved father to Elisa(Joel), Sandra(Domenic), Gina, and cherished grandfather to William (Natalie), Jessica and Samantha. He was honored to be a great-grandfather to young Rachel. He cherished his family and took great pride in all their accomplishments.

Rodolfo was born in Supino, Frosinone, Italy, and immigrated to Canada in 1957 where he came to be with his fiancé Clelia. Upon his arrival, Rodolfo and Clelia were married, and they began their life in Canada. Rodolfo went on to become a master tailor, taking great pride in his work. He always worked hard--a trait that he passed on to his children.

Rodolfo was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He cherished his relationships with them, always maintaining awareness of the progress of their lives. He enjoyed socializing with friends and relations, and could always be heard passionately discussing Italian politics, soccer, hockey and the general state of the world over an espresso and a snack. He always welcomed visitors to his home with open arms, lots of delicious food and a genuine smile.

Rodolfo will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His memory will forever live in their hearts.
