March 16, 1950 – January 28, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Roy Peter Carty, who left this world on January 28th to be with the Lord.
Roy was the son of the late Letitia Bend and Joseph Carty. He was a loving brother to the late Martha Williams and is survived by his brothers, Joseph Michell and Eric Carty.
Roy will be deeply missed by his partner and best friend, Ray, who stood by his side with love and support. He was also a father, Roy’s greatest pride and joy were his children: Kareem Carty, Jerome Carty, Osei George , Mariah Carty, and Makayla Baldwin. He also had many grandchildren. Roy was not only a family man but also a true friend to many, touching the lives of those around him with kindness and warmth. We have a new angel watching over us and his name is Roy.
