With deep sadness we announce the passing of Roy on Sunday, April 21st, 2013. He was born in Toronto on September 25th, 1950 to Bill and Beverley Mitchell (deceased). Survived by brother Scott Mitchell and sister-in-law Louise, predeceased by sister Cassandra. Resident Superintendent in the Beaches for the last 30 years, a very caring, kind and generous man; Roy looked after everyone. He enjoyed reading, watching documentaries and a good laugh.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 25th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Giffen-Mack “Danforth” Chapel, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main St. Subway) 416-698-3121. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Roy’s family.
