Aw jeeze. Suddenly on May 21st, 2015 - after a short battle with Leukemia - Russel (Gene Brian) Hunter of Toronto Ontario passed away at Toronto East General Hospital. Russ was survived by wife Emma Gabucan-Hunter, as well as his six children Anne (Dave) of London, Gord (Tanya) of Stratford, Tom (Cherie) of London, Liz (Shawn) of London, Deb (Paul) of London and Mike (Aly) of London. He is also survived by his brother Gary (Jackie) of London and sister Mary Hunter of London. Russel also leaves behind a niece, nephews, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Russ was full of life. He was a friend to many, and known for his quick wit and humour. He will be very sorely missed.
Funeral services will be Sunday May 24th from 1-3pm at Giffen-Mack Funeral home. Reception to follow at 3:30pm at Sarah's Café 1426 Danforth Ave, Toronto.
