Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre with his son and daughter by his side on Monday, November 7, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Isabel. Loving and devoted father of Dr. Robert John Smyth (Donna) and Janet Lynn Hogan (Larry). Loving and proud grandpa of Michael and Scott Smyth, James, Steven and Michael Hogan. Predeceased by his sisters Molly Forbes (Lou) and Anne Webb (Al); sisters in law Audrey Woodham (Fred), Jean Thornley (Burt), Nancy Knight (Allan), and brother in law Allan Kerr (Irene). The family would like to extend thanks to the staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre for their kindness and compassion. In accordance with dad's wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Southlake Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.
