Ms Sheila Ann Hewitt Amys

Peacefully, on October 28, 2016, at the age of 83, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Beloved mother of Carrie (George Strachan), Meg and the late Andrew Proctor. Predeceased by her loving parents Sheila and Jack Amys. Dear sister of Jane (Jimmy McMyn). Doting Nonna to Sarah, Haylee, Jackie and Sean. We're proud to remember for her the great works and good times Sheila had with Havergal, Trinity, the RCAF, the Wellesley and Sick Kids Hospital. There will always be a special place in our hearts for the lovely Tea Ladies -- true friends indeed! The family wishes to extend their thanks to Susan Shapiro and the wonderful staff at Belmont House, for taking such good care of Sheila. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Christ Church Deer Park, 1570 Yonge Street, Toronto. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Society.
