I went to school with Shelly 1964-1968 at little Black River reserve school Manitoba Canada,I surprised she passed on ,well good to know she was a born again Christian etc...

My deepest condolences to you and your family on Shelly's passing.  I lived across the street from the Gorchynski family in Bowsman.  Shelly and I were good friends until we finished school.  Although I had not seen her in years, I have often thought of those carefree days we spent growing up.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

David, Delaney and Dawson: Shelly can never be replaced; a beloved life partner and mother is the centre of any family and no words can possibly express that deeply enough. We were so fortunate to have known Shelly these past years through Emma and Delaney's friendship and our lives were immeasurably enriched thereby.

Shelley makes me think of peonies- bold, opulent and beautiful. She was a great  neighbor to have.

Dear David, Delaney and Dawson, our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.  Shelley was such a lovely woman and so clearly a wonderful mom.  Your loss is unimaginable; may God give you strength and surround you with love at this difficult time. I had the great privilege of meeting Shelly 35yrs ago at the Health Sciences Centre where we worked together and became great friends.  We shared many life experiences and many, many laughs. We had kept in touch only sporadicly in the latter years and thus I was shocked and heartbroken to hear of Shelly's illness and departure from this world, far too soon.  It is with a very heavy heart that I struggle to finds words of comfort but as I replay her beautiful photo gallery and grieve, I am always left with a feeling of have been blessed to know such a beautiful human being inside and out. When Shelly came to our "family" in Toronto, we spent time together during our single days.  We both married and had children in very close proximity.  We went from hanging out in bars to hanging out in coffee shops with our baby boys in tow.  We drifted apart but still connected at events and gatherings.  How ironic that our children have both lost a parent a month apart.  Shelly was someone I always looked up to and admired.  Her big smile and gregarious laughter filled us all with joy and wanting to be in her presence.  I am so deeply saddened by the loss of Shelly.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.....David, Dawson, Delaney, Betty, Reg, Darcy and David.  I feel so blessed to have been a part of her life.  Thanks for the memories.

I've know Shelly for over 20 years and considered her one of my dearest friends. She was one of the most gracious, giving, loving, beautiful people I've ever known. To me, she was always so special... an angel among us. So, calm and spiritual. So very beautiful. Such a great friend to me and to many others. I could always turn to Shelly when I needed support sorting things out. Her extraordinary compassion and fierce intellect were a rare combination. So smart, so caring, so beautiful. I love her deeply and my heart is broken that she is not with us any more.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to work with Shelly for a long time. I was under her supervision at work only within three months. But, it was a great chance in my life to work with such intelligent, educated , reserved and so nice inside and beautiful woman I have ever met in my life. I will remember Shelly forever.

She touched us all with her radiance. Her gentleness of heart and razor sharp mind. Her tact, her diplomacy. Her ability to tackle any challenge with passion and perseverance.  Her amazing laugh!
