Sophia Ann Marie Brown Smith, 44 passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025 in Toronto Ontario. Born on August 30, 1980, in St. Elizabeth Jamaica. Sophia was the cherished mom of Sylus Duff Smith and devoted partner to Bob Duff. She is survived by her father Agrery Smith, Mother Wilanita Smith and Maureen Smith, Sisters, brothers, lots of cousins, nieces and nephews and family and friends. She was known for her radiant smile, sense of humor, and her motto: “Keep calm and keep smiling”. Sophie believed in living fully, loving deeply, and making everyone feel valued
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday August 5,2025 at the Church of St. Peter and St. Simon 525 Bloor St E, Toronto, Ontario M4W 1J1 from 10:30am up until time of service at 11am.
As we Mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life--a life that, though short, was meaningful and full of grace. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered with endless love.
Rest peacefully, dear Sophia you will forever live on in our hearts.
