Passed away, at the age of 90, in Toronto on Saturday February 12, 2011 after a valiant and long battle with Alzheimer's. Sophie has joined her beloved husband of 54 years, Danny, in Heaven. Her only child, Mary Louise and her husband Brian Killin will miss her dearly. Loving Nana to the loves of her life, Kathleen and Sean. Sister to Albert "Gus" (deceased), Alec, Anita, Eileen and Carmella. Sophie created many wonderful memories for all her nieces, nephews and indeed the Little Italy community at her cottage in Wasaga Beach. Many heartfelt thanks to the incredible, caring staff of 2W and 5W at Castleview Wychwood Towers. The family will receive friends and relatives at the JERRETT FUNERAL HOMES, 1141 St. Clair Avenue West, (416-654-7744) on Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 72 Mansfield Avenue on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
