Sylvanus Daniel Adam Klotz, born in Edmonton, AB, on July 14, 1963, led a beautiful and passionate life filled with joy, optimism, and a huge dose of altruism. With a multifaceted career as an ice skater, ballet dancer and choreographer, and yoga/pilates instructor, The God Of The Forest ("Bunnies"), the celestial Sylvanus hopped around the globe with glittering ice-skating performances in Europe, North America, and Asia. His joie-de-vivre, his love of various food explorations, and love for anything in nature (animals, gardening, flowers) were so positively infectious that he had touched and transformed the lives of many along the way. He is survived by his loving husband "bunnies," Aryo Wicaksono, and equally loving sisters Collette Volund and Valerie (Genifer) Brown. He wished everyone to be present, happy, grateful, and ENJOY THE JOURNEY!
A visitation for Sylvanus will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne Street, Toronto, ON M4X 1K5

" Our Nook "
There is a sacred nook
deep in the forest
hidden by moss
nibbled gently by deer…
a place undisturbed
by the limitations of bodies
the limitations of time
the limitations of fear.
Here in this nook
magic resides
fuelled by our love
by the look in your eyes
when you feel our connection
when you know we are one
This place I call “home”
and it’s what we’ve become.
A symphony of music
Erupts from our nook
but the pitch is too high
for average human ears to perceive
and so it is ours especially
to sing, and to hum,
to celebrate and, on occasion, to grieve.
every forest bunny
pricks up their ear
when they feel our music
saturate the air
for they comprehend
what we share ain’t just corporeal
although, don’t get me wrong,
you are beyond adorable
But the bunnies, they know
how deep and how true
our connection withstands
our devotion, like glue
which secures any fragments
that threaten to fall
we reinforce our foundation
inspire each other to stand tall
because once a nook has nestled
into moss, or into dirt
it’s inconsequential what it’s filled with
be it rainwater, or hurt
this cavern was crafted
by you and by me
and the magic therein
will dance for eternity.
