Teresa Clasadonte

Teresa was predeceased by her husband Giovanni in 2007 and is survived by her loving daughters Angela (Frank Giorgio) and Josie (Vince Pileggi), who will forever cherish her memory.

Born in Chiaravalle Centrale, Calabria, Italy, Teresa was one of six siblings and the last surviving member of her family. In 1962, she and Angela traveled from Calabria to Naples, where they boarded the SS Saturnia, a steam-powered ocean liner, on March 21, bound for Pier 21 in Halifax to begin a new life in Canada.

Teresa was a devoted and loving mother, known for her generous heart, and unwavering strength. She was adored by her grandchildren Robert, Alessia, and Luca and her great-grandchild Liam, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

We will love her and miss her every day.

Visitation to be held at the Delmoro Funeral Home (61 Beverly Hills Dr, North York On M6L 1A2) on Monday September 1st from 4-9pm. Funeral Mass at St.Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church (2100 Jane St. North York On M3M 1A1) on Tuesday September 2nd at 10am Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St. Concord On, L4K 1A7)

Fanciulla, che fai sulla tua porta guardando da lontano per quella via?

Ah se sapesse! Quando lei e morta, di la l’anno portata la mamma mia. Mi hanno detto che di la debbe tornare e son qui da quattro anni ad aspettare.
