

Grieving Tyler, are his sons Jake and Luke, and their mother Lisa, his brother Erin and his wife Maureen and Erin’s children Stephanie and Tristan; Tyler and Erin’s cousin Ed.
As well as his mother Lesley and stepfather Ed Kukiel. Tyler was predeceased by his father Stephen Ripley.
Tyler was born and raised in the Beach. He was a graduate of Malvern C.I. and a long-standing member of Local 46 – the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union.
In his youth Tyler played hockey and lacrosse and loved to swim and waterski. He spent many summers at his grandparents’ cottage in Hastings, Ontario.
In the 80’s Tyler was in a band called Chronic Submission along with his good buddies Rustin, Hamish and Christian. They performed many gigs around Toronto at such venues as the El Mocambo and Larry’s Hideaway.
Tyler travelled across Canada in his working career to British Columbia and Fort McMurray, Alberta and many different locales in Ontario.
For many years, Tyler struggled with substance abuse which took a toll on his overall well being. As well as being a diabetic Tyler had other serious health issues, but he always remained optimistic and in good spirits. Tyler is at peace now and his mighty heart is at rest. Tyler was loved by many and will be missed.

A celebration of Tyler’s life will be held sometime in the future.
