After a lengthy battle with cancer, Voola passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital on Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Beloved wife of Barry for 46 years. Loving mother of Mary (Phil) and Steven (Alice). Cherished grandmother of Claire and Nicholas. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Jerrett Funeral Home (660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough), from 4 – 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church (1385 Warden Avenue, Scarborough) at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Voola’s name can be made to the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation.
