Heartfelt sympathies on Wanda's passing from this earthly place. I was at Trafalgar as a 'boarder' from Mississippi. I may have only been in Montreal for one school year but it made an indelible mark in my life for so many reasons. Hard to believe but one of my best friends to this day is a connection made during those times. Wanda was always the life of the party, a sweet gal and I have never forgotten. May her memory always be a blessing. Sending warm thoughts and prayers, even from far away!

Dear Rosalind and Chloe:  and all of  Wanda's family and her many, many friends-- my heartfelt condolences. We all loved Wanda too and mourn with you at her tragic passing. Know that she loved you dearly. She was a wonderful mother--a brave and devoted one! The word I always associate with Wanda is "spunky". She was a courageous spirit, with a wonderful sense of humour, the most delightful laugh, and a passion for humanity and justice.

Wanda was our wonderful Labour Law secretary along with Nicole Lemire at Robinson Sheppard and we have all stayed in touch for more than 30 years or so.  Quite a history n'est pas? Quite a tribute to Wanda! a tribute well deserved.  All of our love!

So VERY saddened to learn of the passing of Wanda.  Wanda was a dear colleague and friend for many years in Montreal.  I will miss you Wanda - you will always be remembered most fondly. I was so saddened to hear that Wanda had passed away.  Although I have known her since she was 5, I have not seen her since she was a young single woman with young children. I was always taken with her drive through adversity, and her big laugh that carried a bit of nervousness with the same drive to carry on.  I am very sorry that her family has lost their mother and grandmother, and may their many good memories carry them through this difficult time and give them joy throughout their lives.

I knew Wanda very briefly during my time at the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee with the Government of Ontario. She was a very charming, kind, and happy soul.  We used to have engaging conversations on art and religion together. I am very sorry to know of her passing, my prayers, condolences, and thoughts are with Wanda's family and friends. My heart was in pain when I heard the news. She was a good friend and colleague. Wanda had a way to make people around her laugh. She will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to her children and grandchildren.

I felt a loss when reading about Wanda's passing.  Memories of conversations, her wit, her wisdom and most of all her laughter immediately came to mind.
Wanda was a remarkable person to have left a coworker with such vivid memories.

Her presence will be missed, but I am sure her light and sprit will be seen in each one of her family members.

Dear Rosalind, Chloe, Annemarie and Cathy.  I am shocked and saddened  to learn the very sad news of Wanda's passing.  We shared many fun times together in Montreal, always topped off by raucous laughter.  Despite the challenges she faced, Wanda could always find humour in the toughest of situations.  Although we lost touch after she moved to Toronto, the artistic keepsakes Wanda so generously made for me are a daily reminder of our friendship.  These I shall cherish forever, along with  fond memories of our times together.  I extend my deepest sympathies to you all, and hope that with time you will be comforted by the knowledge that Wanda's soul will live forever.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Wanda’s passing.  I have known Wanda for many decades and always viewed her as my friend the artist/writer.  She was tremendously gifted in these ways and even more gifted with life experience and wisdom.  She was genuine and someone you could always count on. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.  
Wanda was wonderful, caring, kind, interesting to talk, talented.....a good soul.  Always ready to help....she helped me a lot at my difficult times.   A good listener, she could always find the right word to make me feel better and stronger.  Wanda could be very serious and at the same time when she laughed, she really laughed sincerely. 
She was proud of her daughters.      
I will miss Wanda so much!!!  May she rest in peace.

I hope Wanda is at peace and I offer my deepest condolences to her loved ones.  I had the fortune of meeting Wanda when I started working at the OPGT over a decade ago.  While I never worked directly with her due to our being in separate departments, we had occasional lengthy chats that revealed the unique spirit that was Wanda.  Without a doubt, Wanda fully lived, laughed and loved with every ounce of her being.  Her joie de vivre and witty sense of humour was evident to all who knew her.  She openly shared her complex personal history, which I believe made her very aware and sympathetic to any injustice or unfairness and she was always ready to fight against same, no matter the source.  She genuinely cared about her coworkers and the clients we served.  While Wanda had a tough exterior, her softness and light came through most whenever she spoke about her art, her travels, and her children.  I was looking forward to seeing the creations she made every year at Christmas time and hearing about her adventures in retirement.  Sadly that is not to be.  I will remember Wanda fondly.

I am so sorry to hear the sad news. Wanda and I were best friends since age 7. Her laugh was infectious and we had such fun times together. I will miss her every day 😭💖

Wanda was my coworker at RSB.  Her free spirit and sense of humour brightened my day and helped me through some challenging times.  I will miss her and the many laughs we shared together.   My condolences to her friends and family.

Wanda was a free spirited women.  Her many talents in the artistic world that she shared were passionate, intense, deliberate and portrayed  subtle messages where one had to find a moment of silence to appreciate.  Her joy of living was contagious and giving of her rich personality.  She was a warrior, she was gentle, she was funny and her sensitivity to life was felt in her kind actions.  Her compassionate self was stunning!  She was the magic in the magicians hat!  The heartfelt moments that we shared were authentic, vibrant and delicate as her spirit was. Wanda was a co-worker and part of the legal team at OPGT. She was a great woman with such a different and nice sense of humor. I am deeply sad with the news. I remember looking at her at first and she was always working hard and always was happy to assist. before she retired, I was trained by her to assist the lawyers of Estate department with the legal branch and I will never forget the sentence she told me: "Estate is not a regular department. our clients are dead already so there is no rush" she made laugh with this sentence !

Wanda was my friend and co-worker.  She had so many artistic talents and it was thrilling to listen as she described her interests with such enthusiasm.  I'll never forget how happy Wanda was when she had her Art Show of her wonderful prints - absolutely radiating joy!  Wanda  shared that she had a  complex journey through life.  She was determined to find her roots and we had many long conversations about her family tree and connecting with extended family.   Wanda had so many creative ventures: her paintings, beautiful cards, miniatures, and the plays she wrote.  The two prints I have will always stand as tributes to her genuine talent.  It is shocking and so very sad that Wanda's journey was cut short.   My sincere sympathy for Wanda's children and grandchildren.

Wanda was my cubicle neighbor at work until her retirement at the OPGT and I've enjoyed getting to know her over the years. I affectionately called Wanda my work mom. She was artistic, creative, kind, loving but also tough and no nonsense. I'm so sad to hear about her passing and I extend my deepest condolences to her children, her family, and her grandchildren. May you all be surrounded with comfort in this difficult time. Wanda, thank you for the chats about life, for the jokes, I will miss you terribly.
