William "Bill" Austin

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded with love on June 26, 2021 at the age of 92. Bill is predeceased by his wife, Teresa Catherine and his parents William and Irene Austin. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his six children Bill Austin (Donna), Peter Austin (Florence, Debbie (deceased)), Marie Seeney (Norm), Teri Keys (Sean), Rob Austin ( Amelita) and Cathy Hoey (Jeff).

Bill will also be lovingly remembered by his nineteen grandchildren Ian (Cheryl), Jason (Alyssa), Jennifer (Trevor), Justin (Fernanda), Chris (Kaileigh), Janice (Craig), Bradley (Ashley), Brian (Lisa), Mark, Danielle (Will), Matthew (Hangjue), Michael (Katy), Laura (Erik), Melissa (Tim), Mandy (Enri), Alysha (Pat), Josh, Derek (Shelby), Steven. He is also survived by his fifteen great grandchildren

Always loved and remembered by his brother Gerry and sister Dorothy, brother-in-law Vince and sister-in-law Gillian.

Bill enjoyed visiting family and curling. He loved travelling and in recent years visited Israel, England, the Baltic Capitals and many trips to Florida.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 30th, 2021, at St. Theresa’s Shrine of the Little Flower, 2559 Kingston Road, Scarborough.

Interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2700 Kingston Road, Toronto.

Donations in memory of Bill may be made to “Sleeping Children Around the World”
