William passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital with the love of his life, Gwendolyne Preboy, and his beloved sister Susan by his side.
William grew up in Toronto, in a creative family and attended OCAD University and the independent art school Arts' Sake. William's art career spanned the heyday of the Toronto Queen West art scene and explored ideas of identity, personal struggle and the individuals' place in society.
William left the art world in the 90's and embarked on a new career in marketing and brand building at Gwendolyne Hats, where he utilized his many talents.
William suffered a catastrophic heart attack 8 years ago, but cheated death. His health, very sadly, progressively declined although William always looked on the bright side and was always grateful for everything he had. William taught us all to be more positive, resilient and to value the beauty, and joy in the simple and beautiful things in life.
William leaves his partner Gwendolyne, his sister Susan {Keith} Brothers in Law Bradley, Scott {Robin} Jeff {Janet} and nieces and nephews Lucas, Sage, Hayley, Devon,Shane, Mia-Skye, Gabriel, and Renee and many other broken hearted family members and friends.
William was a gentle, sweet, funny, sensitive, mischievous, generous and creative man who loved deeply. He will live on forever in our hearts.
