Ada Maria Sosa Santos was born September 7, 1931 in Santa Clara Las Villas, Cuba, the daughter of Pablo Sosa Marguez and Georgina Santo Basail. She was the second child of five, with siblings Migdalia, Angel, Lidia and Marta. She married Saturnino Cardoso and had two children, Jorge Pascual and Alicia Aracely. They divorced in 1972.
Ada emigrated to the United states with her two children on April 21, 1969. She secured employment with Fairchild Aero Fasteners, where she retired in 1995 after working for 27 years. Also in 1995 she proudly became a citizen on December 15. After retiring she dedicated her time and efforts in caring for her grandchildren and spending time with family as an amazing mother and grandmother.
One of her favorite things to do for her family was to cook and share her amazing Cuban cuisine, which she often brought to family gatherings. Another favorite pastime was trying her luck with the slot machines at casinos. Her eyes would light up with excitement every time she hit a winning combo on the machines. When dining out with her family on special occasions, she also loved having a classic margarita.
She is survived by her son Jorge (Dinorah), and daughter Alicia (Chris), grandchildren, Alex (Kelsie), Jackie (Quintin), Jorge (Amy), Daniel (Karley), Adrian (Jenice) and Andrew (Victoria), great-grandchildren, Olivia, Eliana, Evan, Daisy, Charles, Juniper, Rowan, Roman and Bryson.
Mom you were much loved and will be greatly missed.
