Struve, Alma Cecelia, a native of Redondo Beach, CA, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at age 99, in Manhattan Beach. She was a lifetime member of the Alpha Star Chapter 171, Order of Eastern Star. She and her husband, Henry Struve, enjoyed traveling and attending functions with the Elks, Masons, and Shriners. She loved playing bingo with the Heights Senior Citizens where she served as Secretary and also the Editor of their monthly newsletter. She is known for her homemade cookies and lemon pies.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Scali of Manhattan Beach, CA. Preceded in death by her mother, Delphine Larcom (aged 100) and her father, Elmer Larcom, Sr.
A gathering of family & friends will be held at White & Day Manhattan Beach Chapel on Monday, February 23, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held also at White & Day Manhattan Beach Chapel on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
