He was born in Michigan on December 10, 1938. Brant graduated from Brethren High, and received a Bachelor's Degree from UCLA. He was married to Kazue Wada Carey on July 17, 1982.
Brant had a career in Pan American Airways for 25 years. He was a member of the El Camino College Orchestra, and had a passion for French, music, reading, building things, and traveling.
He was survived by his wife Kazue; by children Michael, Robert, and Trisha; by stepsons Jim, Erik, and Travis; by grandchildren Sofia, Serena, and Sara; by 13 step-grandkids; and by siblings Don, Mark, Ross, Tim, Janet, and Jill.
A visitation for Arthur will be held Sunday, September 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Lighthouse Memorials & Receptions, White & Day Center, 901 Torrance Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, with Funeral Service to start at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow until 3:00 PM. Private burial will occur at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
