Our dearest family and friends, it is with very heavy hearts that we announce and mourn the passing of our beloved Arthur David Carlos. He was born on February 17, 1982 in Harbor City, CA, and he moved in to his Heavenly residence on February 26, 2022 at the age of 40.
Arthur is survived by his mother Loretta Pargas, father and stepmother Art and Sandy Carlos, his three children Anthony, Adrian and Natalie, his grandfather Carlos "Tata" Manriquez, siblings Janette, Roman, Nicole, and Vincent, nephew Nathan and niece Aria.
Arthur graduated from ITT Technical Institute with his AS degree in Electrical Engineering and Communication Technology. He then became employed with Northrop Grumman. With his generosity and willingness to help others, he quickly impacted the lives of all the people who worked with him. He was a part of the NG flag football club, softball club, and EA&T happy hour club (if there was one). Because of his great work ethic, he was acknowledged and recognized within the department and quickly moved up to a mechanical technician 3 where he handled EA&T’s purchasing, material management and safety audits.
Arthur always made time to be with all the people he cared about, which were many he was the most selfless person and would be there for you at the drop of a dime with no hesitation. With his family friends and girlfriend, he constantly attended Dodgers, Lakers, and Raider games which were his favorite teams. He also looked forward to his reoccurring fantasy football leagues with some of his closest friends. He was an avid bike rider as of late. He was constantly riding his well-known dodger blue stretch cruiser along the beaches, through the streets and was a part of the brew pedalers bike club.
While sports, friends and bike riding gave him joy, his utmost pleasure was being a father. He always made time to be there for his children whether it was taking them to and from school or attending after school activities and sports. He constantly talked about how proud he was of them. He did everything he could to create a lot of fun and loving memories for his children. One of his proudest moments was purchasing his home where he boasted about giving each kid a room of their own. A true testament of his fatherhood. His legacy will forever live on through these three impressive children that have learned to be kind, compassionate, loving, dedicated, selfless, silly and truly good human beings from their father.
Arthur was a beloved son, father, uncle, grandson, friend, and cousin who will always have a special place in our hearts.
