Beverly J. Baron

Beverly Baron, a 49 year resident of Hermosa Beach, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2006 in Torrance, CA. Born in Knierim, Iowa, she was 82 when she died following complications from a fall at home. Beverly was humorous, energetic, always punctual, unfailingly dependable, and devoted to her family, friends and church. She dedicated her life to caring for her handicapped daughter, Judy. Beverly was a Christian and an active member of Journey of Faith Church. She is survived by her children, Judy Baron of Hermosa Beach, Janet (Neil) McCracken of Torrance, Beverly (David) Van Dillen of Mar Vista, Larry (Patricia) Vasquez of Rancho Palos Verdes; sisters Barbara (Frank) Banner of Cambria and Marcella Osman of Encino, and six beloved grandchildren: David, Ashlie, Edward, Chris, Scott and Alyssa. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman, and daughter Cassandra Vasquez. Visitation will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Wednesday, June 21st between 4:30 and 8:30pm. The Service will be held at Rice Mortuary on Thursday, June 22nd at 11:00am, with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARC South Bay, 1735 W.
