Christine Virginia Jones

Christine Virginia Jones was born on October 31, 1921 in Independence, Missouri to Thomas Miller and Jessie Mae Boydston. She left this world, to join her husband: Kenneth Rex Jones, her mother and father, one of her brothers, and one daughter, as well as many other loved ones already in heaven on Thursday, December 2, 2010.

She left behind many more loved ones; children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends, neighbors, and co-workers in the call of Christ. She is survived by (children) Patricia Hernandez, Jimmy & Julie Jones, Jean Padilla, Jo Ann & John Causey and Casey Jones and Emily and Dan Baldino; (Grand-Children & Great-Grand-Children) Candy Cook, Stephen Habeeb, Rachel Habeeb, Bethany Betancourt, (et al.), Suzie, Rob and Rebecca Silva, Kenny, Miyuki, Lana & Lia Hernandez, Kimberly, Raul & Sophia Licon, Keith Hernandez, Chrissy, Matt, Joey, Brittany, Olivia & Tyler Rathbun, Charlene, Ashley, Gary & Gage Halverson, Tonya, Moses, Matthew & Noah Gallego, Jason Padilla, Jenni & Mike Carreiro, Jason & Christine Causey, Brent Jones, Jamie Jones, Alison and Evan Jones.

She attended many churches over the years but her last home church was Grace Baptist of Wilmington, California.

She worked for Torrance High School as a Cafeteria Worker for about 20 years and retired at the ripe old age of 76.

She had many wonderful adventures after that with her church friends. She sung in the church choir here on earth and is now singing with the saints in glory. She was a junior church leader, prayer warrior and deaconess. She liked to bake special goodies at Christmas time as well as cooking for her children all the time. She lived a blessed life and we were all blessed by having had her in our lives.
