
Daniel P. Strosnider, age 39, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Torrance Memorial Hospital. Dan was a resident of Redondo Beach and was born on April 29, 1979 in Washington, D.C. He was a longtime employee of the Boeing Corporation and held a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland College Park, a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master’s of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland University College.
Dan deeply loved his family. He was the proud father of two young sons, Jack and Luke Strosnider. Dan is survived by his parents, Jack and Lynn Strosnider of Montgomery Village, Maryland, his grandfather Jack Strosnider, Sr., his grandmother Carolyn Picardi, his brother Michael (Carol) Strosnider, his niece Isabel Strosnider, his nephew Grant Strosnider, aunts Kathleen (Jim) Sanders, Louise (David) Chalfant, honorary aunt and uncle Susan and Ronald Maehl, as well as many other cousins and extended family members who loved him and who will greatly miss him.
A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced in Dan’s home state of Maryland. Jack and Luke have chosen to support the ASPCA and the American Diabetes Association, and ask that any donations to these charities be made in their father’s memory.
