
A 47 year resident of Rancho Palos Verdes and Chandler, Arizona passed away unexpectedly December 9, 2002 at 6:50 pm from pancreatic and liver cancer. Patricia was born August 7, 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Edward Oliver Erickson and Florence Cordelia (nee Johnson). Patricia was an owner of many antique shops situated along Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance, the last one bearing the name of ''Patricia's Antiques,'' and certified by the International Society of Appraisers. She was formerly a member of the Palos Verdes Junior Women's
Club and the South Coast Antiquarian Society.
In recent years, she had amassed an extensive history of genealogical lineage dating back to Sweden & Belgium, circa 1500. Patricia is survived by her husband, Joseph Kukel of Rancho Palos Verdes; two sons, Kevin Kukel (Sue
Ware) of Fremont, Allen Kukel of San Diego; two daughters, Pamela Killingsworth (Lester) of Tuscon, AZ and Suzanne Godfrey of Rancho Palos
Verdes; three grandchildren, Allyson Kukel, Joseph Kukel and Brian Godfrey. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kathryn, brothers Oliver and Roger ''Bud'' Erickson, and her longtime dear friend, Ruth Kaemerle.
Graveside services and internment will be Friday, December 13th, 2002, at 1:00 pm at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes to be officiated by longtime minister of the family, the Reverend E. M. Schoppa, formerly of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Redondo Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
Patricia will be missed by her many friends and relatives located throughout the United States and Canada. ''Mom, please remember that we will always love you and we will share a martini on the rocks with two olives and some sour
cream and herring in your memory.''
