Edythe Lindberg, of Hermosa Beach CA. died Saturday September 13th at the age of 90 with family around her. ''Edie'' was born March 11, 1913 in Galva, IL. to Ernst and Clara Lind. She married William ''Lindy'' Lindberg and had two children; Lindy Ann Lindberg, who died at the early age of 19, and son Jim of Hermosa Beach, who with his wife JoAnn has two children; daughter Kelly Ann Johnsen (husband Scott, Ashley 21, Makenna 13, Maxwell 7) and son Jim Jr. (wife Jennifer, Brighton 6, Emma 4, expecting), both of Manhattan Beach. Two sisters, Muriel of Lake Minnitonka, MN. and Myrtle of Winthrop, MN and several great grand children. Nieces and nephews also survive Edythe. During her time spent living in California, she worked as a switchboard operator for 12 years at Daniel Freeman Hospital and other local medical exchange companies. She loved cooking Swedish meals for her family and spending time with her grand children and will be greatly missed.
