Elizabeth (Betty Remy) T. Conger

Conger, Elizabeth T. (Betty Remy) passed away April 3, 2005 at Little Company of Mary Hospital. Betty was born October 1, 1925 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She married Alfred Remy on June 26, 1947. They moved to California in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1959. They had three children, April, Jeff and Linda. She married De Loss Conger in 1976. He died in 1986. Betty's life was filled with laughter. She was devoted to her family and despite many hardships managed to get through them with a boundless determination and quick joke. Betty is survived by a daughter, April (Richard) Hinton from Illinois, a son Jeff (Becky) Remy from Redondo Beach. Her daughter Linda preceded her in 1993. She is also survived by grandchildren Andy (Lisa) Hinton, Rebecca (Brian) Hinton-Roy, Jeff (Shelly) Hinton, Jon (Jennifer) Hinton, Charles Hinton, Casey Remy, Chambria Muriell and Heidi (Wes) Williams. Six great grandchildren, Jacob, Sam, Alex, Graham Remy and Shiloh. Sisters Alice Thibeaudeau and Clara Sullivan and her brother-in-law Bill Sullivan. Many nieces and nephews and many friends.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at McCormick Mortuary 1998 S. Pacific Coast Hwy., Redondo Beach, CA. In Lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Redondo Union High Boosters Club, 631 Vincent Park, Redondo Beach, CA.
