Hernandez, Frances, a lifetime resident of the South Bay, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2008 in Torrance. She was born June 7, 1917 in Long Beach and was 91 when she died. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hermosa Beach. Frances is survived by sons, Louis Hernandez, Richard Hernandez and Leroy Hernandez; Daughters, Molly Morales and Loretta Soliz. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a sister. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the Rice Mortuary in Torrance. A Vigil service will begin at 6:30 P.M. at the Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.
