
He was a 2005 graduate of North High School, Torrance, where classmates voted him "Most Unique" in 2004. He had recently enrolled in classes for Fall 2005 at El Camino College with plans to major in Marketing, and to graduate from a four-year university. He attended Bella Vista Elementary School and Monterey Highlands School in Monterey Park, and Magruder Middle School in Torrance. He worked at Captain Kidd's Fish Market since 2003. He was a talented artist, he loved music, and cars. He also enjoyed sharing time with his friends.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Merly Valles of Torrance; Grandmother Carmen Medel of the Philippines, and Jennifer Valles of Sherman Oaks; Grandfather Rizalino Anonuevo of the Philippines; uncles and aunts Tom Valles and Shirley Oliver of Van Nuys, and Jeffrey and Kimberly Valles of Glendale; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the Philippines; He will be dearly missed by his friends from North High School, Torrance, and Monterey Park.
Visitation will be from August 22, 2005, Monday, 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., August 23, 2005, Tuesday, 4:00 - 8:00. Vigil/Memorial will be at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd. in Torrance. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., August 24, 2005, Wednesday, at St. James Catholic Church, 415 Vincent St., Redondo Beach. Rev. Joseph Brennan, presiding. Interment will be at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes. Reception follows immediately at St. James Catholic Church Hall.
