DOUGHERTY, JAMES J. of Torrance , passed away on Friday, July 4, 2003. James was born Sept. 30, 1929 and was 73 at the time of his passing. Survivors include: Daughter, Alene (Mrs. Joe) Castro of Torrance, Son, Jim (Debbie) Dougherty of Torrance, Son, Ken (Patty) Dougherty of Lakewood, Son, Paul Dougherty of Torrance and Daughter, Frances (Mrs. Mike) Porper of Temecula. Also left to mourn his passing are his Brother, Dan Dougherty of Jacksonville, NC, and six grandchildren, Christina, Louis, Annie, Sarah, Joseph and Jake. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 11, 2003 at 4:00 PM at RICE MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503. Private cremation and inurnment.
