James Conrad R. Lingad, 54, of Whinchester, California, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
James was born on June 17, 1970, in Park Ridge, Illinois, to Eleanor and Conrad Lingad. He spent his childhood in California, where he attended Nativity Catholic School and Bishop Montgomery High School. He later earned his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Arts from California State University, Los Angeles.
Known for his love of customizing cars and motorcycles, James brought passion and craftsmanship to everything he built. Whether restoring bikes or designing custom vehicles, he found joy in turning ideas into reality.
James is survived by his devoted parents, Eleanor and Conrad Lingad; his sister, Maryjoy Lingad-Pablo; his loving partner, Kathy Shelley; and their two beautiful daughters, Addie and Ava. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Lingad.
A funeral mass to celebrate James’s life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, Lomita, California.
**In honor of James’s final wishes, there will be no burial as he will be cremated
