To the DeCuir Family    I am sadden to hear of your loss, of James. I just want to say what a kind and special person I thought he was. I got to know him while I was working at C.D.G. in Culver City. James always talked with everyone and, made us feel like we were extended family. He also enjoyed shining people\'s shoes. He truly was a special person who left me with good memories and will be missed.

There\'s a miracle called -Friendship- that dwells within the heart. You don\'t know how it happens or when it gets it\'s start. But the happiness it brings you always gives a special lift and you realize that Friendship Is God\'s most precious gift.  My life is richer because he touch it.   Taemarie Jankans

To all James DeCuir family, my deepest condolences, My heart is really hurt with the lost of a wonderful man. He was like a father to me, goooood friend, co-worker. I met James at Continental DataGraphics,also met Rosemary, what a exceptional couple. I have so many memories of James, singing Happy Birthday\'s for all of us and many other songs, make us happy every time we see him, it was a joy and pleasure be with him.   He use to bring me a taste of his cooking, rice pilaf, roast beef, etc. Great cooker.   I keep him in my heart. I remember and appreacited all the good times at "CDG". To the DeCuir Family, may god bless each and everyone of you. James was a very kind and loving person, always had a nice word for you. Sometime waiting for my carpool, James would tell me stories about his grandchildrens and how excited he would be when the holidays were coming, because then he would get to show off his cooking talent for his family and friends. I am saddened by the passing of Maddy, and yet I find that I am smiling as I think of him. He had a story for every occasion or incident, and although they could be,(and usually were) funny, they were also interesting and insiteful! When we attended some Raider football games at the Coliseum and down in San Diego with "Mad Dog", I thought we might be too much for him, but I think he taught us a thing or two.   He was more fun than the younger guys, and he would observe something or someone, and point out some irony that had escaped the rest of us. He was a people person that exuded a warmth you could truly feel. As far as being an entertainer, he was not only a singer, but could tell some great stories. He sang Karaoke at my 25th wedding anniversary, and tore the place up! Him and Rosemary were the first to arrive and the last to leave, and we loved every minute of it. What a great couple they were!    He must have sang 10 songs,and we had to shut the machine off, so he would take a rest! He was a kind and caring man to me and my family, and we will all miss him greatly.     May the pain of your loss grow weaker, as the memories of Maddy strengthen. God Bless your family. I am so glad that I was able to spend some time in July with Maddy.  We had a great time together talking about things familier to both of us from the past.  Maddy was much like an older brother to me.  I cherish the many memories and am greatly saddend by his passing.  My heart goes out to all of you.

To the DeCuir family:      James was like a ray of sunshine to all of us here at CDG. He always had a kind word, a warm smile, a story to share. I learned a lot about the history of baseball in California from him.    I like how he used to tell us when the lunch truck arrived: "The catering truck is here. It\'s a fine day outside." I just want to share my condolence I knew james well when he used to work at cuver city as a security gaurd he was a good man. god bless him.

I met Mr. DeCuir after he retired and was working as a security guard at our Culver City facility. Mr. DeCuir approached is job with a smile on his face and with true professionalism. He touched all our lives and will be missed.

James always had kind words and a warm smile and expression for everyone he greeted at work. He will be greatly missed.  My prayers to his family.

JAMES WAS A REAL NICE MAN. HE ALWAYS SPOKE TO YOU. LOVE TO TAKE ABOUT HIS FAMILY. MAY HE REST IN PEACE. GOD BE WITH YOU IN THIS TIME OF NEED.

Dear Uncle Maddy      Thank you for all of the memories you have left me with.  Thank you for giving me "culture"!  Thank you for taking me on my first weenie roast!  Thank you for the trips to the park to feed the ducks and ride the boats.  Thank you for letting me help you shine shoes and sew old scraps    of leather at the shoe shop.  Thank you for all of the times you let me stay at your house so I could spend time with Celeste.  Thank you for "The Barn"! Thank you for the wonderful Christmas Eves that meant so much because I always knew Santa Clause would be there!  Thank you for being my Uncle.  I will miss you.

My sympathy to the whole family. James was a very nice man to me and my family. He was always talking about his grandkids. I met James when CDG was located in Culver city and he was a very respectful person. I\'ll truly miss him but he\'s in better place. God bless!

To the Cuir Family.   I am so sorry to hear of your loss, I want to share my condolence with all of you, He was a very nice person allways have a smile for you . I will be missed him God bless him and all his family.

I am really sorry about James\' passing.  You have my deepest sympathy for he was such a nice and gentle man.  His personality just drew you to him and you couldn\'t help but like him.  James and I had many short talks at his guard post at Continental Data Graphics, Culver City.  I always complemented him on his terrific voice and said he should be on a stage performing and of course he told me he did sing and do routines.  I had not seen James in over two years since our facility moved but I will still have that memory of this nice man with the strong voice who was always fun to talk to and laugh with.  He was a very special person and I always missed him and thought about him. God Bless him.  I am sure he is entertaining the folks above or giving advice about leather goods.
