Nisbet IV, James Cooper a 55 year resident of Hermosa Beach, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 in Torrance. Born in Pasadena, CA, Jim was 59 when he died. Jim was a decorated war hero; he served as a Special Forces Captain in Vietnam. For the past 10 years Jim had worked as National Marketing Director for Innovative Marketing Strategies in Costa Mesa CA. Jim had a great love of the ocean and was a Dive Master, which inspired him to start a sober dive club. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by Wife, Donna Nisbet of Hermosa Beach, CA, Daughter, Andria (Mike) Orr and Grandchildren Taylor, Devin, and Owen Orr of Paso Robles, CA. All of whom shall greatly miss their Poppy. He is also survived by Sister, Carol Cultra of Mission Viejo, CA. and Brother; Andrew Nisbet of Redondo Beach, CA. Jim was preceded in death by Mother, Dorothy Nisbet, Father, James Nisbet, and Sister, Kathrine Nisbet. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Jim’s life on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center in Rancho Palos Verdes at 5:00p.m. All who knew and loved Captain Jim are encouraged to attend.
