Janice Lee Colasardo was born to Dorothy and Carlo Colasardo (both deceased) in Los Angeles CA, where she spent the majority of her life, living from 2001 to 2006 in the Phoenix AZ area. Jan attended Los Angeles High School, Los Angeles Valley College and California State University at Northridge, where she graduated with degrees in Journalism and Geography. Jan worked most of her career at Northrop Grumman Corporation and Vought Aircraft Industries in a variety of capacities.
Jan was a voracious reader and avid learner. She enjoyed concerts, movies, museums, discovering new and offbeat restaurants and shops, and she loved to travel. She especially loved New Mexico and the Native American culture and food. She also dearly loved her dog Lucy. Jan is survived by sisters, nieces, cousins and her close friends Margaret, Jaynee and Lynda, who will miss her so much and will cherish all the good times and the great laughs we had.
