Jeremy “Jae” Tejero born May 6, 1996 in Arcadia, California. Greeted by mother Laura, sweet grandma Pat and loving papa George. Our child was two weeks late but was well worth the wait. Every ounce of this 8-pound 11-ounce baby was sweet and joyful. Always smiling and laughing. Jeremy was one of kind and magical.
Jeremy attended kindergarten and elementary school in El Monte. With the prospect of a safer life and better education we moved to Torrance. Allowing Jeremy to attend J. H. Hull at Levy and then joining in the Tejero family legacy of attending Torrance High School. Go Tartars! Graduating with the class of 2014. This move also allowed for countless adventures with beloved but crazy grandpa Frank. Entertaining Jeremy with several trips to the movies, museums, battleships, and parks.
Jeremy was artistically inclined; spending hours drawing or writing short stories. This unicorn loved to express whatever visions or thoughts were racing through their mind. Creativity and the love of reading was a trait Jeremy inherited from papa George.
Jeremy was reunited with Steven’s brother Dave, Aunt Shirley, Uncle Corey and Uncle Jimmy on July 4, 2022. This angel was the greatest gift any parent could ask for, blessing our world for an amazing 9,555 days. Spreading joy and happiness are some of the many things that Jeremy will be remembered for. Being a bright light in a dark world Jeremy made every attempt to improve someone’s day, to help when possible or to be the shoulder a person in need could lean on. Jeremy was a superhero to so many just like dad Steven. Our world like many others will never be the same without our magical unicorn in it. Jeremy may not be here with us in a form we can see but Jeremy will always be in our hearts.
