Josephine Acoba Nieto Lahep was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on January 31, 1942 to Basilio and Anatalia Nieto. She went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 15, 2015. She is survived by her brother, Arthur Nieto; her children, Elizabeth and Michael Robertson, Michelle and Christopher Andrade, and Faye and David Selu; her grandchildren, Jené and Javier Cardoso, Kendra Taylor, Noah Andrade, Kawika Robertson, Kiana Robertson, Kaman Selu, and Nofoalii Selu.
Josephine graduated from Farrington High School in 1960 and found a career in the cosmetic industry and then later joined the United Airline family.
Josephine enjoyed bowling. She was completely devoted to her family and found great joy in being a mother and grandmother.
She was of a sweet and gentle spirit and always made everyone feel welcomed and loved in her home. The family wishes to express great appreciation to those who have shown an abundance of love, support and encouragement at this time.
A celebration of her life was held on January 22, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2000 W. Artesia Blvd., Torrance, California.
