Survived by son Michael and daughter Mary Jo of Gardena. Also survived by twin brother David Lavine and wife Rosemarie of San Diego, brother-in-law Humberto Zaragoza of Guadalajara, Mexico, and brother-in-law Roger Eddy and wife Mary of Wappingers Falls, New York, nephews Dan Lavine, Dr. Sean Lavine, Humberto Zaragoza Lavine, Marcos Zaragoza Lavine, Kurt Eddy, and niece Michelle Malkischer.
Judy was amazingly artistic whether arranging flowers, decorating for holidays, gardening, or doing any kind of sewing or needlework. She had a keen mind and loved working the crossword puzzles in the newspaper and was a voracious reader of books. She loved her pet dogs and cats, and even the desert turtle she inherited. COVID caused her to shelter at home due to health concerns, but she kept in touch by phone calls, and cards and letters. She will be sorely missed.
