Janie worked as a bookkeeper for sixty years. She retired after 16 years from Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic at the age of 65. Her retirement years were spent doing the things she loved – gardening and shopping for her four grandchildren: Matthew, Melanie, Kevin and Bailey. Janie was a talented seamstress and played the piano beautifully by ear.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Homer Johnson of Hawthorne, CA; Daughter, Susan Lane of Gepp, AR; Son, Doug Johnson of Gepp, AR; Daughter, Janet Johnson of Hawthorne, CA; Son, Allen Johnson of Hawthorne, CA; and Daughter, Mary (Brian) Burroughs of Centennial, CO. Preceded in death by Mother, Marie DuBois and Father, August Falsani.
The Service will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. A reception will follow in Rice's Lighthouse Reception Room until 3:00 P.M. Inurnment will be private.
