She was born November 30, 1984, to Sandy (Abrenica) and Ken Goodwick
and was a lifelong South Bay resident. She graduated from North High
School in 2003. She was a nanny for the Enright family for nine years
and was a “second mom” to Caden and Regan, whom she considered family.
She had a lifelong built-in best friend in the form of her sister,
Kristen (Tyrone), and will also be forever loved and missed by her
father, Ken; brother, Joshua (Tara); beloved nieces, Jacey, Kamryn,
Kendall, Riley, and Kyle; adored nephews, Trysten and Benjamin; and
cherished fur babies, Kaylee and Bella. She was preceded in death by
her loving mother, Sandy. Katie loved her friends, family, dancing,
animals, and the beach. She was quick to muster a biting quip, but it
never outshone her kind and loving heart. She was a treasured
daughter, sister, friend, and auntie, and her sense of humor, candor, loyalty,
and loving nature will be deeply missed, but the impact she had on her
family and friends will never die. Those wishing to make an expression
