Kelly Ann Smolak

Kelly was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky in 1968 to Gary and Ruth Arneson. The family then moved to Torrance, California where Kelly attended Towers Elementary, Bert Lynn Middle School and gradated from West High School.  Throughout her childhood Kelly enjoyed playing A.Y.S.O. soccer and Tordono Little League Softball. Once graduated she became a devoted mother of three children.

Kelly loved working with the children at Torrance Unified School District for over 20 years. She enjoyed days at the park and quiet nights at home doing various arts and craft projects. She was especially talented at making beautiful one of a kind jewelry that she would give away as gifts to close friends and family.

Kelly is preceded in death by her father Gary Arneson and is survived by her mother Ruth Arneson, sons Jonathan Arneson and Kenneth Thorp, daughter Margaret Smolak (Mark), sisters April Berryhill (Ken) and Sarah Wright (Matthew), nephews and nieces Nick Carranza, Kaitlyn Berryhill, Gary and Cadance Wright and Abbey Carranza.
