

Mr. Leslie Craig Perkins, affectionately known as "Les," was born on February 25, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas. He earned his High School Diploma from Saint Peter Claver Academy in San Antonio, Texas, in 1965. Following his graduation, Leslie enlisted in the US Army, where he served for several years.
After completing his service to his country, Les relocated to California, where he worked in the corporate world and traveled extensively for business. His last position was as a manager for "One Day Paint and Body Centers," an auto body paint shop, where he worked until his retirement.
Leslie had a passion for sports and enjoyed watching football and other sports. He was also an accomplished cook and enjoyed preparing his favorite dishes, including "enchiladas," "cupcakes," and his favorite "hot sauce." He was an avid reader and enjoyed researching various topics.
Leslie met his beloved wife, Violeta Lowe, on a sunny day in California, and they were married on January 30th, 2004.
Leslie was preceded in death by his mother, Jewel Etta Jackson, and his brother, Jose Jerome Jackson. Leslie is survived by his wife, Violeta Lowe Perkins, his brother, Reuben Jackson II, his ex-wife, Cecelia, and his adopted daughter. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Alberto Lowe-Muschette, sister-in-law’s: Ana Williams, Marcela McPhee, and Clotilde Simons, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends, including Robert and Darlene Greene.
Leslie cherished his warm conversations with his cousin, Debra Lynell, and the rest of his family in San Antonio, Texas. Leslie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
