OSSEA, LILLIE M. passed away peacefully at her home in Redondo Beach Wednesday, August 31st , 2005. She was born February 8, 1925 in Louellen, KY. Lillie, a 55 year resident of Redondo Beach, was preceded in death by her husband Hobart Ossea in 1969, and is survived by five children: Robert McNutt (Kathy), Ronald McNutt (Pam), Hobart Ossea Jr., Michael Ossea, and Sally Loganbill. Her sisters Edith Williams and Lakie Barresi also survive her. She was the proud grandmother of seven and great-grandmother to eight. Lillie is also cherished as a loving "Grandma" by the many children that she nurtured as a child care-giver for over 40 years. Her unconditional love and kindness will be deeply missed and she will live forever in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Viewing will be Tuesday, Sept. 6th, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM and Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7th at 1:00 PM at WHITE & DAY COLONIAL MORTURY, 901 W. Torrance Blvd., Redondo Beach, followed by graveside services at Pacific Crest Cemetery, 182nd & Inglewood Ave., Redondo Beach.
