Lotus Marie Beggs

Lotus was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose faith and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her children, Mary, Lin, Jim, and JoAnn; grandchildren Jennifer Perego, Christopher Perego, Amanda Pena, Julia Williams, Jennette Videtto, Jaclyn Wilbourn, Jessica Beggs, Jamie Adair and Cory Howe; and great-grandchildren Brandon Lemoi, Kelsey Perego, Devin Perego, Noah Perego, Logan Pena, Joseph Pena, Emily Williams, Alexander Williams, Alice Wilbourne, Tyler Wilbourn, Evan Videtto, Declan Howe and Thea Howe. Lotus was also blessed with great-great-grandchildren Wyatt Lemoi and Waylon Lemoi. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 79 years, James Allen Beggs, and by her grandson, Devin Adair.

A graduate of El Camino College, Lotus worked as a cosmetologist for several years. A devoted Catholic, she was an active member of St. James Church in Redondo Beach, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and participated in bible study. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life and a source of inspiration for her family.

Lotus will be remembered for her deep faith, gentle strength, and the boundless love she shared with her family and community.
