Maria Luisa Garcia de Ramos

She was preceded in death by her parents, Genovevo and Gregoria Garcia, her husband of over 55 years, Jesus Cortez Ramos, her siblings Pedro, Socorro, Maria, Hermila, and Ignacia of Jalisco, Mexico, and her daughter Maria Aurora. She is survived by her four children: Hilda Preciado, Carmen Moreno, Jose Luis (Kristina) Ramos, and Martina Santos, as well as her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and her brothers, Jesus and Solome of Jalisco, Mexico.

Luisa (as many people knew her) started her life in the United States by settling down in Redondo Beach, California, where she worked as a housekeeper, nanny, and housewife. She loved taking care of children, cooking, gardening, and sewing. She was a hard-working woman and cared for so many over her 81 years of life. She loved her work with Shaklee where she could help others and continue to help her own family prosper.

She and her husband made a good life for themselves and their family through their over 60 years of life together. Although she will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her, we know that her pain is gone and she is in the palm of God’s Holy hand and the presence of her Beloved Chuy and her daughter Lola, until we can see her again in Heaven when our time comes.

Funeral services are being handled by Rice Mortuary, Torrance. Viewing and Rosary will take place on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 4 PM-6 PM. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 19th at 12:30 PM at her home church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Hermosa Beach with her final resting place being at Pacific Crest Cemetery with Dad under a beloved palm tree following the mass. A reception will follow at Moose Lodge, Gardena from 4 PM - 6 PM.

Querida Esposa, Madre, Abuela, Bisabuela, Tatarabuela, fallecio tranquilamente en Torrance al lado de sus hijos, despues de una batalla contra su salud.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Genovevo y Gregoria García, su esposo por más de 55 años, Jesús Cortez Ramos, sus hermanos Pedro, Socorro, María, Hermila e Ignacia de Jalisco, México, y su hija María Aurora. Deja sus cuatro hijos: Hilda Preciado, Carmen Moreno, Jose Luis (Kristina) Ramos y Martina Santos, También la sobreviven amados nietos, bisnietos, un tataranieto y sus hermanos, Jesús y Solome de Jalisco, México.

Luisa (como mucha gente la conocía) comenzó su vida en los Estados Unidos

en Redondo Beach, California, donde trabajó como ama de llaves, niñera y ama de casa. Le encantaba cuidar a los niños, cocinar, la jardinería y coser. Fue una mujer trabajadora y cuidó de tantos durante sus 81 años de vida. Le encantaba su trabajo con Shaklee, donde podía ayudar a los demás y a su propia familia a seguir adelante.

Ella y su esposo hicieron una buena vida para ellos y su familia a lo largo de sus más de 60 años de vida juntos. Aunque será extrañada mucho por todos los que la conocieron, sabemos que su dolor se fue y está en con Dios, en la presencia de su amado Chuy y su querida hija Lola, hasta que podamos verla nuevamente en el Cielo.

Los servicios funerarios están siendo organizados por Rice Mortuary en Torrance. El velorio y el rosario se llevarán a cabo el jueves 17 de marzo de 2022, de 4 p. m. a 6 p. m. La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo el sábado 19 de marzo a las 12:30 p. m. en su iglesia Our Lady of Guadalupe en Hermosa Beach. Después de la misa, su lugar de descanso final será en el cementerio Pacific Crest con su esposo bajo una palmera. A continuación habrá una recepción en Moose Lodge, Gardena, de 4:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m.
