

She was born on October 30, 1947 in Shanghai, China and made the (Los Angeles) South Bay her home for over 40 years since 1982. Mary provided care to South Bay families, initially at Mira Costa High School and Rolling Hills Covenant Church.
Mary was the owner / sole proprietor of Mary’s Home Day Care, where she was fondly referred / called as “Auntie Mary” by all. Mary enjoyed cooking, shopping and walking. Mary enjoyed sharing her cooking with friends and neighbors. She spread a positive complimentary attitude towards everyone she interacted with.
Friends are invited to join the viewing, memorial service and luncheon reception on Saturday, December 20th. The Viewing & Memorial Service will be held at the Torrance Lighthouse Memorial – Rice Center located at 5310 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503. A viewing only will also be held the night before on Friday, December 19th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Viewing will commence from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Memorial Service will tentatively commence at 11:00 am.
Luncheon Reception will tentatively commence at 12:30 pm “down the street” in downtown Torrance at The Depot located at 1250 Cabrillo Avenue, Torrance, CA 90501.
Following a cremation, Mary will be laid to rest with her husband at Green Hills Memorial Park at Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
