We were so blessed to be Mary’s neighbor and friend for almost 30 years. 
Mary spoke Shanghainess , so do I.
Therefore, I was so happy to practice my mother tongue with Mary. Mary helped me to keep up my use of “mother tongue “.
We were so blessed to see Mary got baptized at Bread of Life church. It was a milestone for her and her family. 
Mary loved to feed us with Chinese food and desserts. Both of  my dogs enjoyed the treats as well. 
Mary, we will see you in Heaven. We miss you , but you are in better place. We have watched your son, Henry, growing up into a mature, caring man. We will continue to pray for Henry. 
So Mary, enjoy your Heavenly experience.

My dearest Mary, I was devastated to hear of your passing. words fail me. I remember when we first met. We sat together in the mall , each holding our child and talked and when it turned out we were both from Shanghai we were so excited.  After that we often spent time together chatting endlessly.  Now you’ve gone to heaven.  Losing such a dear friend is heartbreaking. your smile and kindness will forever remain in my heart.  You have a loving and filial son Henry who will carry your memory with him .  May your spirit rest peace on the other side.               Your friend, Julie Martin

Henry, your mom was always so nice and many times tried to share her homemade Chinese food treats with us like the dumplings she would fry up. We could never make anything for her without her trying to return the favor back. She will be deeply missed on Donora Avenue. Your friends, Joe and Dianne Joffino

We are very sad  that Marry is no longer with us. She  was a great  neighbor and friend.
Mary had always the presence of mind  in letting me know about good deals at the market. 
Also Mary was very thoughtful in bringing healthy foods during my cancer treatment .
We will certainly miss Mary.

Mary was our dear friend and neighbor for over 30 years.   
We were the lucky recipients of Mary’s legendary, egg rolls! 
In fact, several years ago, Mary came to my house, with all of the ingredients, and taught me how to make them myself.  We spent a wonderful afternoon together, laughing and making egg rolls.  
It’s one of my favorite memories of Mary.   
Mary watched my children grow and always brought treats to them from her travels to  China. 
Mary was blessed to have been so loved and cared for by her devoted son, Henry. 
Our thoughts and prayers are with Henry now.  
We will miss her and remember her always!
