Hankins, Mary Theresa, a 19 year resident of Long Beach, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2009 in Torrance. Born in Pennsylvania, Mary was 95 when she died. Mary was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church in Carson.
She is survived by her son, Michael Hankins of Columbus, GA; son, Mark Hankins of Attica, KS; daughter, Agnes Conerd of Independence, IA; son, Daniel Hankins of Long Beach, CA; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A gathering of family & friends will be held at White & Day Colonial Mortuary in Redondo Beach on Tuesday September 22, 2009 from 6-10pm. The Service will be held at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Carson on Wednesday at 10am. Burial will take place at Saint John's Cemetery in Independence, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Philomena Catholic Church in Carson.
